Host your own Walk for Alzheimer’s event at your residence!

Each year, all across Manitoba, seniors' residences, assisted living facilities and personal care homes host Walks in support of the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba. A walk can be tailored to fit the needs of your group and is a fun way to show support.

How to register:

• Click "Register your Walk."
• Start a team and become a team captain.
• Choose "Host a Walk" as your location.
• Select "Community" as your team type.
• Continue to follow the prompts until the registration is complete. Once you have successfully registered we will send you a Walk for Alzheimer’s kit to help get you started.

Your FREE Walk kit includes:

• A Host a Walk checklist (click here to download the checklist)
• A coin box for collecting donations
• Balloons to decorate your Walk
• Forget Me Not decals for participants to wear
• Forget Me Not stickers for donors to wear
• A Walk for Alzheimer's t-shirt to give as a prize/thank you to a participant
• A promotional poster to help promote your Walk
• A goal thermometer poster to visually track your goal
• Pledge form to collect offline donor information
