Each year, all across the province, seniors' residences, assisted living facilities and personal care homes host Walks in support of the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.

Once you have successfully registered, you will be sent a Walk in A Box to help get you started.

Your free Walk in a Box includes:

• Walk Coordinator’s Handbook
• 10 balloons to give a visual presence for your walk
• 15 "I'm Walking For" signs to show who you're walking for
  
• 30 paper wall decals to be filled out by supporters and placed on a designated wall or pinned on your shirt to show who you are walking for
• 30 Alzheimer Society stickers to be given to walkers/supporters
• Customizable PDF posters to advertise your event
• An Alzheimer Society t-shirt to be given away as a prize/thank you

The Community Walk that raises the most funds will receive the annual Extra Mile Award.
