I'm taking part in this year's IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer's and would love your support!

I am walking this year for my Baba (great grandmother). Her parents brought her to Canada by boat, along with 7 of her 9 siblings from Poland, when she was young, right before World War 2 started. She worked tirelessly to support her family her whole life. She raised three amazing daughters; Theresa, Barbara, and Monica. She also had granddaughters; Nicole, Janelle, Natalie, and Heather. Along with great grandchildren; Sidney, Marcus, and Alexander. My Baba was incredibly brave, tenacious, and very independent. She fought for her independence even when she was suffering from dementia, she never quit. My baba passed when she was 96 after a long and beautiful life, but was still plagued with this awful disease for so many years. Her face would always light up when she saw me no matter what, even if she didn’t quite remember who I was. I cherished all the time I got to spend with her. We are fighting for her and everyone else who suffers from this horrible disease. ❤
