I'm taking part in this year's IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer's and would love your support!

This cause is very near and dear to my heart, as both my Mother Josie, and my Baba suffered from this terrible disease.  My Mum had challenges for many, many years and did not recognize me for the last five years of her life.  With the help of knowledge resources I was able to make our visits as meaningful as possible, for both of us.

The Alzheimer Society provides invaluable support through community outreach for those living with, and dealing with loved ones with dementia issues.  Knowledge of the pathway that lies ahead is not only of great help, but very emotionally supportive.

Did you know, more than 20,300 Manitobans are diagnosed with dementia and 62 per cent are directly impacted by the disease?

Please consider making a donation, no matter the size, as every dollar helps the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba continue to offer meaningful programs and services to families impacted by dementia.  Many of our friends at Betel suffer from dementia and we appreciate very much when the Alzheimer Society comes to share knowledge and tips.  They also attend at New Horizons with a community outreach program monthly to help those needing support.
