Please support me in my journey to fight dementia. This year, I have committed to participate in the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer's to support families living with dementia in our community.

My mom Linda, was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in 2006, at the young age of 58. Her dementia journey was long and challenging. 

Currently, over 20,300 Manitobans have Alzheimer’s disease or another dementia. 

Approximately 3,600 are expected to develop dementia in 2025. This number is growing rapidly and by 2050 it is expected to reach over 39,100. 

Sixty-two per cent have experienced dementia with a close friend or family member who was diagnosed with the disease.

By making a donation, you are helping the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba continue to provide valuable programs and services for families affected by dementia, while funding research to help find a cure.
