This year as I turn 71 Gerald has been gone 18 months. My life has changed dramatically in that time and I miss Gerald everyday. Gerald loved life and activities like skiing, sailing, kayaking, travel and farming. Even as Lewy Body Dementia took hold of his mind and body Gerald continued to be a kind, gentle man. I have decided to celebrate my birthday by walking for Alzheimer's. The IG Wealth Management Walk supports families like ours that live with dementia. Gerald died in October 2023 and I continue to access the Alzheimer Society resources such as the bereavement group.    

By making a donation, you are helping the Alzheimer Society continue to provide valuable programs and services for families affected by dementia, while funding research to help find a cure that relates to all dementias.
