Welcome to My Personal Page
Thank you for supporting my ride to fight Alzheimer’s disease.
This year I have committed to a 1,000km bike ride, as an alternative to walking. My ride through southern Manitoba will include Steinbach, Beausejour, Selkirk, Gimli, Ashern, Dauphin, Brandon, Killarney, Winkler, Morris, LaSalle and home to Winnipeg.
I expect this ten-day-ride to be completed on May 31st at the ASM Walk in Assiniboine Park. I am participating in the “Walk for Alzheimer’s” because the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba provides essential programs and services that work to effectively alleviate the personal and social consequences of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias within our community. Currently, more than 22,500 Manitobans are diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or another dementia, including members of my extended family and friends.
By making a donation, you are helping the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba to continue its important work towards a world without Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.
Thank you again for your kind and generous support.
