Eventually, the person living with dementia that you are caring for will need help from someone they trust to make decisions. But what does it truly mean to respect their values, wishes and autonomy? And what should decision-makers consider? This session will cover advocacy principles and strategies to ensure the person living with dementia remains at the centre of every decision.
