Join Speech Language Pathologist, Kelly Tye Vallis in a discussion about communication changes that may arise throughout the dementia journey. Persons living with dementia may experience difficulty expressing themselves in conversation, finding the right words, understanding spoken language, repetition, losing their train of thought, and engaging in conversation in the same ways they once did. As these changes can be hard for everyone, Kelly will provide tips when assisting someone experiencing communication changes and provide additional resources.
